My dad visited in March 2025. This is where my grandfather was a member.

The Moji Golf Club is the oldest golf course in Fukuoka Prefecture, founded in 1934, and it is a traditional golf course where businessmen and businessmen from the northern Kyushu region have been members since its founding. The current clubhouse was built in 1960. The designer is Antonin Raymond from the Czech Republic, and the implementation is Takenaka Engineering.

Raymond came to Japan with Frank Lloyd Wright to build the Imperial Hotel, and then began design activities in Japan. His work is called modernist architecture, and he has left many architectural works, and is an architect who has had a great influence on the modernization of Japanese architecture.

This clubhouse is one of Raymond's buildings that was continuously built in the northern Kyushu region, and is an important architectural work of post-war modernist architecture.
